INCLUSIVITY CONSULTING
Midwife Michele (“Misha”) is available for hire to other birthworkers, healthcare providers, businesses, and organisations who want to create more inclusive practices for queer, transgender, nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and intersex clients, patients, and customers.

After getting some cultural competency training, one of the first things many providers realise they need to do is to make sure their existing paperwork, print materials, and website are inclusive. Usually after some training, it is easier for providers/businesses to see where their materials might be problematic, but they might not have the time or feel confident enough to go through and edit everything. This is where Misha can help out. They can go over your website, printed education and advertisement materials, and your paperwork in an effort to point out places where improvement towards inclusion can be made. Misha is also available to help create new materials, help troubleshoot general practice issues and structures concerning inclusivity, and present on inclusivity issues to other members in a group practice/business. Because Misha is queer and trans nonbinary, they have the ability to critique a provider's practice or business's policies through a first-hand experience lens.
RATES FOR SERVICES

REVIEWING & EDITING PAPERWORK, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, AND ADVERTISEMENTS
$10 per item or $75 for every 15 items

REVIEWING WEBSITES OR BLOGS
$150 per website (will provide edit suggestions, but provider or provider's web administrator will need to make the edits)
$10 per blog post or $75 for every 10 blog posts
GENERAL CONSULTING ON INCLUSIVITY ISSUES IN A PRACTICE
$275 for 2 hours (you ask questions & Misha answers them; Misha points out areas needing improvement & you brainstorm solutions together; you ask for guidance in current or probable scenarios & Michele will advise)
PRESENTING TO PRACTICE/BUSINESS MEMBERS
$275 for up to 2 hours

When travelling to present/consult, in addition to the stated rate, Misha charges $100/day of travel by car that is farther than 3hrs along with a $150/day stipend for meals & hotel costs. If train or plane travelling is required, ticket costs are the responsibility of the hiring entity, along with a $150/day stipend for meals & hotel costs. All fees are to be paid in advance.

COMPLETE BUSINESS PACKAGES
$1200 (up to 4 hours consulting/presenting, one website review, up to 25 blog posts, and up to 50 print items edited)
This package is for small practices with up to 6 practitioners/staff members (including assistants/interns/students). Travelling and lodging fees are additional (see above under PRESENTING)

$2100 (up to 6 hours consulting/presenting, two websites, up to 50 blog posts, and up to 100 print items edited)
This package is for practices with 7-12 practitioners/staff members (including assistants/interns/students). Travelling and lodging fees are additional (see above under PRESENTING)
